Crowns, veneers, bridges and dentures — fixed and removable prosthetic solutions that restore function, appearance and confidence after tooth loss or damage.

Prosthodontics

When prosthodontics is the right choice

When a tooth is heavily broken down, cracked, root-canal-treated, discoloured beyond the reach of whitening, or missing entirely, a prosthetic restoration rebuilds what was lost. The right option depends on the situation: a veneer for a front tooth that is chipped or discoloured, a crown for a back tooth under chewing load, a bridge or implant-supported tooth where a gap exists.

We explain the trade-offs of each option — longevity, cost, how much of the natural tooth must be prepared, and the aesthetic outcome — so the decision is yours, made with full information.

Crowns and veneers

A crown covers the entire visible portion of a tooth and is used when the tooth needs structural protection. Veneers are thinner shells bonded to the front surface, used primarily for aesthetic improvement. Modern materials — lithium disilicate and zirconia — are strong, lifelike, and bond reliably to tooth structure.

We use digital impressions with an intraoral scanner rather than conventional putty, which is both more accurate and more comfortable. Treatment usually takes two visits: preparation and temporary in the first, final cementation in the second.

Bridges and dentures

A fixed bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the neighbouring teeth. It is non-removable, functions like natural teeth, and is a good option when implants are not chosen or not possible.

For larger gaps or full arches, removable dentures — partial or complete — restore chewing function and appearance. We fit them carefully and review them over time, because a well-made denture depends on small adjustments to stay comfortable.
